Sharice Davids – Candidate, Kansas (D-3)
Sharice is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin. After attending Johnson Community College, she went on to earn a law degree from Cornell Law School. She started a coffee business and promoted economic development on the Pine Ridge reservation. During the Obama Administration, she served as a White House fellow where she gained first-hand experience on national public policy.
Sharice believes that she has been able to achieve success in her life because of hard work and the opportunities she has been provided. “In Congress, like I’ve done throughout the rest of my career, I’ll work to protect and expand those opportunities for everyone. . . because we all deserve a shot to achieve our own vision of success.”
