As a single mom, I volunteered at my daughter’s preschool in order to afford tuition. I’ve relied on food stamps, lived paycheck to paycheck, and put myself through college/law school. As a former small business owner, I know what it’s like to stay afloat and keep food on the table. My daughter and I are working to pay off our student loans… Hard work and determination pays off and I’ll fight for all working people to have a chance.
